Sometimes we are all about glam looks but other times we just want to improve how we currently look. However, the “no makeup” makeup look is not really easy to do. But here are some tips on how to learn to master “no makeup” makeup.
1. Make sure that you have a clean base
Do your skincare first. Prepare your skin for the products that you will be using. Cleanse your skin, then also do your daytime makeup routine. This includes any toner, face mask, serum, moisturizer, sunscreen, and any other creams that you use. You may also use eye creams and lip masks.
2. Use a nice primer
Prime your skin so that your base makeup will look really nice on top of it. This is so that you will look really clean and your skin will be even and you get to rid it of texture.
3. Use base makeup that is your perfect shade
Stop using base makeup that is far from the tone of your skin such as a shade darker or a shade lighter. Also, use something lightweight. If you use a product that is too thick or provides too much coverage, it might look fake. Also, avoid products that look too matte. A nice glow can add to that “no makeup” makeup effect. If you have nice skin, you can skip the foundation and simply use a tinted sunscreen or concealer.
4. Use a natural blush
Use a blush that looks like your natural flush when you are tired from a workout or when you are blushing. This will make the look more natural.
5. Do not overdo your brows
For your brows, you could just brush them up and simply fill in the sparse areas instead of doing a full glam brow as that beats the purpose of the “no makeup” makeup look.
6. Use a natural shade for your lips
You can use a My Lips But Better or MLBB shade or a natural lip tint. You may even put on some gloss for a cleaner look if you wish to.
7. Set your face
Set your face with a face mist so that your makeup locks in place. You may even put on some face powder first before the face mist to ensure that your makeup does not move and that your base is really perfect.
